The Daily Money: Supreme Court upholds Tiktok ban

excellent morning and joyful Friday! This is Betty Lin-Fisher with Friday’s customer-concentrated edition of The Daily Money.

In case you haven’t yet heard, there’s breaking information out of the Supreme Court on TikTok. The Justices upheld the law banning the popular app, but whether that means the complete of TikTok is far from obvious. You can read here for the latest.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming.

More male caregivers are taking on the role of tending to a loved one – a role that traditionally has often fallen on women’s plates, a recent study reports.

The role also comes with challenges, especially when it comes to balancing household caregiving with a career and other household responsibilities.

One in four male caregivers in a survey of 1,000 American men said they’d hid their caregiving responsibilities from their employers, according to the study by Carewell, an e-commerce platform offering household caregivers products and educational resources.

Why are more men helping as caregivers?

The three have been searching for permanent housing for over two years. Austin Wardell serves as a full-time caregiver for his father, who suffered seizures in 2018 that left him with brain damage, a broken back, and relying on supplemental oxygen.

Progresso announced Soup Drops, a chicken noodle soup-flavored challenging candy drop that resembles a cough drop.

The soup maker is hoping the drops, which taste like broth, savory veggies, soft egg noodles and a hint of parsley, will assist consumers during cold and flu period.
