2025 Jeep lineup: An army-inspired Wrangler, fresh EVs and more

Things are looking rough over at Stellantis as the conglomerate that owns familiar brands such as Jeep, Ram, Dodge and Chrysler tries to remedy its slumping sales. Jeep faces the same challenges as its corporate siblings. With two promised EVs on the way, the business’s existing range of gas-platform SUVs and trucks aren’t moving off of dealership lots quick enough. For 2025, Jeep is slashing prices for some models and adding standard equipment to others. There’s also a neat special-edition Wrangler 4xe with heritage-invoking design elements for diehard Jeep enthusiasts. Will these updates be enough to turn Jeep’s fortunes?

2025 Jeep Compass: What’s recent

Updates to the 2025 Jeep Compass are minimal. The Latitude trim receives heated seats, a heated steering wheel and remote commence as standard equipment. Jeep adds the oddly named Joose paint color, a shade of orange, which will be available later in the model year. Keep in mind Jeep is working on a recent creation of the Compass with Grand Cherokee–inspired looks and electrified powertrain options.

2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe: What’s recent

A heritage-honoring special edition graces the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe lineup. The Wrangler 4xe Willys ‘41 is positioned between Sahara and Rubicon trims, taking encouragement from the original 1941 Willys MB used by the United States in globe War II.

Equipment includes military olive drab-inspired ’41 exterior paint, color-matching 17-inch wheels and 33-inch all-terrain tires. Other distinctive characteristics include Drab Blue Willys/4xe graphics on the hood along with further Army-inspired details peppered throughout the exterior. Inside the cabin, Jeep outfits tan cloth seats, an olive drab fabric dashboard insert and a ’41 shifter medallion. The Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 can be configured with a body-color challenging top, the brand’s Sky One-Touch power roof or a tan soft top. Pricing starts at $62,420, which includes the mandatory ’41 exterior paint alternative.

Some updates affect other trims. The special edition’s ’41 exterior paint color is also available on other Wrangler 4xe variants. Power locks and power windows are standard on all trims. Jeep also adds modern convenience with its available energetic Cabin Ventilation, allowing mobile app users to remotely pre-ventilate the cabin.

While the other members of the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup receive worth cuts for the recent model year, all of the 4xe plug-in hybrid’s trims expense the same as they did for 2024.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer: What’s recent

This three-row Jeep SUV rolls into 2025 with minor updates. The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer receives standard 20-inch wheels, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. Power-folding mirrors are now available. Otherwise, the Wagoneer carries over unchanged.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S: What’s recent

Jeep began its electrification trip with its 4xe plug-in hybrid models and took the leap into the globe of EVs with the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S. This two-row Jeep SUV is expected to be capable of driving 300 miles on a packed fee. Using 400-volt architecture, charging from 20 to 80 percent should receive 23 minutes using a Level 3 DC quick charger.

Packing two Stellantis-engineered motors, the Wagoneer S comes standard with four-wheel drive. Output totals an impressive 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph should receive a mere 3.4 seconds. Jeep’s Selec-Terrain traction control also comes equipped on all Wagoneer S models. This function enables the following drive modes: Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow and Sand.

We suspect a Trailhawk could be offered alongside the default Wagoneer S. Trailhawk models are expected to receive substantial off-road upgrades, including off-road tires, a suspension lift and red tow hooks. Jeep should also add some rugged exterior design accents and trim-specific badging. To add some additional capability, Jeep is expected to equip a Rock mode from the Selec-Terrain structure. This software tuning will receive advantage of a likely electric rear axle locker for the type of off-road crawling Jeep is famous for.

Jeep equips every Wagoneer S with semi-autonomous driving technology, automatic braking, traffic sign recognition, a 360-degree camera and a driver-focus monitor. Inside the cabin, the Wagoneer S receives a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 10.3-inch passenger-side screen. As a software-defined vehicle, the Wagoneer S receives over-the-air update capabilities. Other tech includes electronic door releases, available 19-speaker McIntosh additional expense audio and heated/ventilated front and rear seats.

2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer: What’s recent

Appropriately, the 2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer gets a longer list of upgrades than the regular Wagoneer, with more additional expense equipment added. Engine output increases to 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque, a significant bump from the 2024 model’s 510 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. Other standard features include 22-inch wheels, a passenger recollection seat, a front passenger seat screen, drowsy driver detection, traffic sign recognition and intersection collision assist. To lessen the burden of long-haul drives, Jeep’s L2+ Hands-Free energetic Driving Assist is now available on Series II Obsidian and Series III trims.

2026 Jeep Recon: upcoming model

Jeep’s pursue-up to the Wagoneer S is an even more hardcore off-roader. The 2026 Jeep Recon is intended to serve as an ultra-capable rock crawler, just like the Wrangler. Expect features like removable doors and a one-touch power top. It could use the same dual-motor setup as the Wagoneer S, to the tune of 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque.

2026 Jeep Cherokee: upcoming model

The Jeep Cherokee is due to profit for 2026 with a tidy-sheet redesign. The original “sport utility vehicle” will be reintroduced for its sixth creation as a compact SUV. We expect the Cherokee will develop to have a wheelbase of at least 113 inches as it adopts the STLA Large vehicle platform. Powertrain options are expected to include a hybrid and/or plug-in hybrid, along with a turbocharged gasoline-only engine. An all-electric Cherokee isn’t expected to arrive at launch but could be part of the schedule further down the road. Jeep could use STLA Brain to back cloud connectivity and STLA Cockpit for its hardware, screens and computers, and it could be equipped with STLA AutoDrive for eventual Level 3 autonomous driving. We’re expecting four-wheel drive and a Trailhawk variant to be in the cards, as well. The 2026 Jeep Cherokee could commence production as early as late 2025 at the Toluca, Mexico, plant that builds the Wagoneer S and upcoming Jeep Recon. (MT rendering pictured above.)
