Target is not waiting for the official Black Friday to kick off its holiday shopping specials.

The retailer gets the bargains rolling this week with Deal of the Day specials starting Friday, Nov. 1 – each day through Dec. 24 there’s a recent deal for members of the Target Circle free loyalty program (you will discover them in the Target app).

Then, next week Target has a recent three-day Early Black Friday Sale, running Nov. 7-9 (Thursday to Saturday), with “thousands of warm recent deals, many up to 50% off,” the business said in a information release Wednesday.

Also, starting Sunday, Nov. 3, Target has weekly deals, which will run through the holiday period. The first week of deals (Nov. 3-Nov. 9) includes up to 50% off floorcare and headphones, plus up to 30% off baby gear and select home decor, and buy one, get one 50% off toys including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can discover all the weekly deals in Target’s Weekly Ad each Friday.

The upcoming holiday shopping period could be a busy one with customer spending expected to surpass that of last year by 2.5% to 3.5%, according to the National Retail Federation.

“We recognize consumers have a lot of choices when it comes to holiday shopping, so we’re leaning into what Target does better than anyone – great products, great prices and a shopping encounter that’s straightforward and fun,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Target, in a statement.

Retail competitor Walmart also released some Black Friday plans this week, unveiling special sales dates from Nov. 11 through Cyber Monday (Dec. 1).
