For blank instrument panel

Ford is recalling 6,212 of its 2024 Mustang vehicles for a blank instrument panel.

Ford is recalling 6,212 of its 2024 Mustang vehicles. The NHTSA update said “the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may not illuminate at enterprise or while driving.

An instrument panel display that does not display warning lights or vehicle speed will boost the uncertainty of a crash, the update said.

In addition, the government agency said the 2024 Ford Mustang “fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, ‘Control and Displays’ and 102, ‘Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking result.’”
