When do peppermint milkshakes arrive back at Chick-fil-A this year? Here’s what to recognize
It’s back.
The holiday period is upon us and Chick-fil-A is celebrating by bringing back perhaps its most popular seasonal item: the Peppermint Chip Milkshake.
The dessert combines the restaurant chain’s “Icedream” with bits of peppermint bark chips for a “chilly and creamy holiday treat,” according to the business. The milkshake is available beginning Monday, Nov. 18 for a limited period.
In addition to the cold treat, the business also returns two other peppermint-flavored beverages, including:
- Peppermint Iced Coffee: A refreshing seasonal twist on cold-brew coffee with peppermint syrup and pure cane syrup.
- Peppermint Chip Frosted Coffee: A blend of cold-brew coffee, peppermint syrup, and Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert, mixed with peppermint bark chips for a frosty holiday delight.
Chick-fil-A Play App also set to launch Nov. 18
The restaurant chain is also set to launch its recent Chick-fil-A Play App on Monday.
Announced by the business last month, the app features “free digital fun” and “kid-amiable content” including original shows, podcasts, games, recipes and more, Chick-fil-A said in a information release.
The app is not intended to be a streaming service to compete with the likes of Netflix, Hulu, and others, but rather it aims to make “recent ways for families to have fun, connect and spend period together,” according to the business.
Chick-fil-A says the app is designed “for parents and kids to distribute and encounter together” and will be “loaded with a wide variety of content and original entertainment for all ages to enjoy.”
“Launching November 18, the Chick-fil-A Play App will propose families the ultimate digital ‘playground’ featuring fun and distinctive content made to be shared both within the app and in-person, encouraging families to make the most of the moments they have with each other,” Chick-fil-A said in the announcement last month.
The app will be available for free, and the business told USA TODAY that it currently has no plans to expense for it.
