McDonald’s is gearing up for the holiday period with the profit of a fan-favorite dessert.
The McDonald’s Holiday Pie will profit to limited restaurants throughout the country on Friday, Nov. 15, a McDonald’s spokesperson confirmed to USA TODAY. The pie will be available while supplies last.
The Holiday Pie was first introduced by McDonald’s in 1999, the spokesperson said, and it has been a holiday staple since. This year, the dessert will join McDonald’s classic Apple Pie on the Sweets & Treats menu.

What cities will the McDonald’s Holiday Pie be available?
Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; St. Louis, Missouri; recent York City, recent York; Cleveland, Ohio; Memphis, Tennessee; and Dallas Texas are examples of cities where the pies will be offered but it could be available in other locations as well.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said customers should check the McDonald’s mobile app to determine if the Holiday Pie is sold at a location near them.
What is the McDonald’s Holiday Pie made of?
According to McDonald’s, the Holiday Pie is made with “creamy, smooth custard nestled in a flaky, buttery crust, glazed with sugar and topped with rainbow sprinkles.” The pie is 260 calories.

Social media reacts to the 2024 profit of the McDonald’s Holiday Pie
Though the Holiday Pie is set to launch on Friday, some fans have already gotten their hands on them and are sharing their thrill on social media.
The TikTok account Jas and Kam Food Reviews shared on Wednesday that the McDonald’s in their area was already carrying the Holiday Pie.
“It feels better already. That custard filling on the inside. It reminds me of a confetti cookie,” one of the users said in the video. Jas and Kam are based in Greensboro, North Carolina, but they did not indicate which McDonald’s they purchased the pies from.
Bootleg Food Review, another food-centric TikTok account, posted a video about the profit of the Holiday Pie on Wednesday, too.
“This isn’t a review today. Oh no, it is not. It’s just an annual reminder that the McDonald’s Holiday Pie is once again out at limited locations and it’s the most perfect pie that they’ve ever put on the menu,” user Jaysyn said. “10 out of 10 and joyful holidays.”
Bootleg Food Review is based in San Antonio, Texas, but Jaysyn did not indicate where he purchased his Holiday Pie.
