money App users have less than 24 hours to file a claim to get some money from a $15 million settlement.
If their money App account was a part of a December 2021 data and safety breach, users of the mobile remittance service have until Monday, Nov. 18, by 11 p.m. PT (or Tuesday before 2 a.m. ET) to file a claim.
In a class-action lawsuit obtained by USA TODAY, the plaintiffs sued money App Investing and Block Inc. for the companies’ “setback to exercise reasonable worry in securing and safeguarding buyer information.”

Users should submit only one claim form. But if you have multiple money App accounts for which you desire to submit a claim, the mobile remittance service recommends that users list all of their Cashtags ($cashtag) and information about their claims on a single claim form, money App said.
A Cashtag is an identifier that is used so that money App users can send money to each other. This is located in the profile section of your account that is underneath the user name.
