Taco Bell Meximelt back on menu, joins other discontinued items like Gordita Supreme
Attention ’80s Taco Bell fans: Just in period for Halloween, the Meximelt has resurrected from the dead.
And it’s not the only popular discontinued item back on the quick-food chain’s menu.
On Thursday, five items that disappeared from the menu over the history six decades had returned to Taco Bell drive-thru and order-in screens nationwide.
Earlier this month, the chain introduced its limited-period Decades Menu, bringing back five popular items, including the Meximelt − which features seasoned beef, pico de gallo, and a mix of mozzarella, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese in a tortilla. All five, each from its signature decade, returned priced at $3 and under each.
“The Decades Menu helps unite generations of fans who fondly recall these menu items, with a recent era of fans who have yet to encounter the delight of a savory Tostada, taste the legendary Green Sauce Burrito, or receive their first bite of a Meximelt,” the corporation said in a information release.
Here’s what Taco Bell brought back from the dead on Halloween:
